I'm Japanese and from 1992 living in Europe.

I grew up mainly in Tokyo, studied and worked in London. After living one year in Den Haag, from 2000 I’m in Munich, Germany.

Making something with my hands is always fun for me, from practical devices for everyday use to fancy jewellery.

In particular, when I can make use of funny found objects or old parts of something, which cannot be used as such, into something I need or I like, I'm happy!

It's maybe not like "up-cycling", more like "Oh, it's living again, and even sweeter!" ... little joy :)

I love the nonchalance, funniness and elegance of animals!

Good quality, craftsmanship and love to details are something I respect.

Spontaneous and naive lines of children's drawing are very precious...

Why do I make calendars...?

For many years I've been looking for a family calendar for myself, which has good quality and is comfortable to look at and practical to use....in vain!

So one day I decided to make one for myself, which can meet all my needs!

Since 2012 I have been selling my calendars in selected book shops and paper shops in München.
Since 2013 on DaWanda (closed in 2018), since 2017 on my Website and on Etsy.

The PUNKTE series came first and from 2017 I decided to do SKETCH series as well, which is with yearly new illustrations, a little freer and playful :)
